Normally used for startup of a new piping system, Temporary (Geometric) Strainers may be installed between flanges in the pipeline.  Designs include cone, truncated cone, and flat geometrics. However frequently they are left in the line during operation.  As with all strainers, periodic maintenance must be carried out for efficient operation.

Designed with 100% to 300% open area range (OAR) as standard, using stainless and carbon steel. End connections are available in sizes from 20 mm to 1200 mm.

Other materials, sizes and OAR conditions are available up on request. Class ranges up to 1200 at 120℃.   Multiple flow options are available for each design, including inside to outside, outside to inside and bidirectional.
